Mission:

Gifted and Talented Elementary Support (GATES) exists to provide financial support for the elementary learners identified as gifted and talented across Spring Branch ISD.  We aim to provide all students with the same opportunity and an equal playing field through the SPIRAL program.

History:

SPIRAL has been a unique part of Spring Branch School District for over 30 years.  In 2024, the program was at risk of being discontinued due to funding issues.  Parents in the community rallied together to raise over half a million dollars to save this highly valued program which has had a tremendous impact for generations. GATES was created to advocate for and fund the SPIRAL program.
